Get a trash bag and raid the refrigerator and cabinets

One of the first general orders for all Jim Brown Boot Campers is to:

Go through both their refrigerator and all their cupboards and make sure they have a large plastic trash bag in hand.

I have them start filling that bag of theirs with all sugared and diet colas. They’ve GOT to go.

Studies go back and forth as to which one of these toxins is the worst for you, sugared or diet, but it’s a real jump ball.

In a 12oz can of sugared soda, there’s on the order of eight teaspoons of sugar...EIGHT.

And to make matters worse, virtually all sugared sodas use High Fructose Corn Syrup.

You hear a lot about High Fructose Corn Syrup, but what’s so bad about it?

Here’s what:

There’s dozens of studies, the most famous of which used a couple dozen Gorillas.

For 90 days they put them all on an extremely high fat diet, weighing in before and after...There was some weigh gain with Group one, but nothing anywhere near outrageous. They attributed this to their overall high metabolisms and their tendency toward active movement.

There were a dozen other Gorillas in an identical study, Group two, with just one variation. In addition to the identical fatty diet of Group one, Group two, was given water flavored with High Fructose Corn Syrup.

The second group on average gained nearly 35% of their original body weight.

This in only 90 days.

They still don’t know why. There’s all kids of theories, BUT they do know for weight gain, that High Fructose Corn Syrup is like pouring gasoline on a roaring fire.

Diet soda’s are a whole other ball game, but trust me, every bit as bad for you.

IT’S ALL GOTTA GO!

That’s why I put a Soda Stream Machine in every Boot Camp Start Up Kit.

It saves a nice piece of change, if you add it all up, works out to about a nickel a quart.

I myself don’t add anything to my Soda Stream soda and that works just fine for me. But a lot of people will add a tablespoon of real fruit juice per bottle, not from a concentrate, the real deal.

Anytime you see “From a Concentrate” on any juice drink, move on. There’re always sweetened and guess what, it’s always with High Fructose Corn Syrup.

Campers are allowed to just take an orange or any fruit they want, squeeze it and collect the drippings, just adding a table spoon to their soda, making at least four quarts at a time, just to always have them on hand.

They’re under orders here:

“You will drink a minimum three quart bottles a day of Soda Stream soda a day, every day.”

I have them do themselves a favor and cut it off by no later than 7:00 PM.

That way they’re not up at 2:00 AM to pee.

YOU’RE SUFFERING, REALLY SUFFERING WITH BINGE EATING / SUBSTNACE ABUSE / WEIGHT ISSUES?

RULE# 1: Work with people who actually know what they’re doing. For years and years I struggled with Binge Eating / Substance Abuse / Weight issues and at my high point, I was just under 100 lbs. overweight. I didn’t like the way I looked and I wanted to do something about that, BUT my real motivation wasn’t trying to go Jim Hollywood, it was pain avoidance. The taller you are, the more likely you are to have problems with your back and all the men in my family are 6’2” plus. The weight made it worse... A lot worse . I was seeing my chiropractor three to five times a week and constantly coming out of adjustment. I was in constant pain and my flexibility was in the minus numbers. I couldn’t pick up my morning paper without getting down on all fours. I couldn’t put my pants on unless I was sitting down and even then, a lot of mornings it was touch and go. And as for tying my shoes, forget it. I didn’t have a single pair of lace up shores...all loafers. ...

THE WORKING MAN’S BETTY FORD CLINIC

The Jim Brown Boot Camp for Binge Eating & Substance Abuse is THE WORKING MAN’S BETTY FORD CLINIC. Both 90-day programs are based in the relatively new science of Epigenetics, reprogramming the brain to crave foods that are good vs bad, both are 100% effective. It’s outpatient vs inpatient, with a 97.4% cost differential. Both offer results, REAL results that stick. With most tables there are FOUR LEGS that hold them up. The Camp has SEVEN. 1.)   We’re selective, we screen all applicants 2.)   Constant supervision 3.)   One on one field training, vs classroom 4.)   Therapy / Medication, where appropriate  5.)   Transcendental Meditation 6.)   Full coordination with general practitioners, licensed therapists, TM and Camp personal  7.)   Daily online presence to guide Campers though the process  If we hit five or even six out of the Golden seven, it just do...
Being Overweight can lead to Diabetes… At this point in the good ole USA, 52% of the general population is either Pre-Diabetic, or Diabetic...52%!! If you’re chronically 30lbs overweight that number jumps up to 83%. You can Google it; it’ll jump right out at you. It’s jabbing yourself with a needle 4x a day, every day - then you lose some toes, then a foot. It’s not a pretty situation, but that’s how it works. You can side step all that AND if you ARE on insulin, get off. It would be a good plan to look into your options. https://jimbrownbootcamp.org/
