ALL CAN GOODS IN THE TRASH BAG

ALL CAN GOODS IN THE TRASH BAG

Actually I go back and forth on this with my campers, and ended up dropping mine off at a food shelter...With one notable exception; Canned Soup.

I didn’t realize this until I followed up with the Mass General study and then saw the exact same thing in a Harvard Medical School Study, but coming up on thirty years now, all caned goods are lined with two plastic components:

Phthalates and Bisphenol-A (BPA,)

That’s the very same stuff they warn you about when they tell you never to microwave food in plastic containers. It’s bad news no matter how you slice it.

But by far, the absolute worse are the canned soups.

There’s study after study that shows if a person has canned soup for just five days in a row...JUST FIVE.

When tested, they will have 1000 times as much BPA in their systems as they did prior to that five days...ONE THOUSAND TIMES!

Now there are people in this world who are hungry and they have to eat something...So okay, it’s not the best for them, but I did give all my canned goods to the food bank...But NOT THE SOUP.

Those poor guys down on their luck never did any thing to me.

I don’t see any point in killin’em.

Chuck the soup.

It’s really nasty stuff.

YOU’RE SUFFERING, REALLY SUFFERING WITH BINGE EATING / SUBSTNACE ABUSE / WEIGHT ISSUES?

RULE# 1: Work with people who actually know what they’re doing. For years and years I struggled with Binge Eating / Substance Abuse / Weight issues and at my high point, I was just under 100 lbs. overweight. I didn’t like the way I looked and I wanted to do something about that, BUT my real motivation wasn’t trying to go Jim Hollywood, it was pain avoidance. The taller you are, the more likely you are to have problems with your back and all the men in my family are 6’2” plus. The weight made it worse... A lot worse . I was seeing my chiropractor three to five times a week and constantly coming out of adjustment. I was in constant pain and my flexibility was in the minus numbers. I couldn’t pick up my morning paper without getting down on all fours. I couldn’t put my pants on unless I was sitting down and even then, a lot of mornings it was touch and go. And as for tying my shoes, forget it. I didn’t have a single pair of lace up shores...all loafers. ...

Lost & Gained, Lost & Gained, Lost & Gained - Like a "Broken Record"

The Boot Camp, just as a test, ran a small series of Facebook ads, geared to people who have struggled all their lives with weight and always with the same “Broken record” :   They’d go along all just fine and dandy with the weight just falling off, BUT they’d either gain it all back right away or go for months, sometimes even a full year, beating themselves up trying desperately to stay on a strict unsustainable diet before finally falling off the wagon and ending up in worse shape yet. They’d blame themselves, seeing themselves as weak and far more often than not, falling into a deep state of depression, then guess what, “TRY TO EAT THEIR WAY THROUGH THEIR ISSUES.”  Anybody who’s struggled with weight the way I have, the way all our campers have, knows exactly how that all goes.  We see it all the time with our newbie Campers... No matter what they tried, they always end up right back where they started from, most of the time, in a whole lot worse shape.  W...

THE WORKING MAN’S BETTY FORD CLINIC

The Jim Brown Boot Camp for Binge Eating & Substance Abuse is THE WORKING MAN’S BETTY FORD CLINIC. Both 90-day programs are based in the relatively new science of Epigenetics, reprogramming the brain to crave foods that are good vs bad, both are 100% effective. It’s outpatient vs inpatient, with a 97.4% cost differential. Both offer results, REAL results that stick. With most tables there are FOUR LEGS that hold them up. The Camp has SEVEN. 1.)   We’re selective, we screen all applicants 2.)   Constant supervision 3.)   One on one field training, vs classroom 4.)   Therapy / Medication, where appropriate  5.)   Transcendental Meditation 6.)   Full coordination with general practitioners, licensed therapists, TM and Camp personal  7.)   Daily online presence to guide Campers though the process  If we hit five or even six out of the Golden seven, it just do...
