An Epidemic of Childhood Diabetes

Recently the Boot Camp used Facebook advertising and promptly found ourselves up to our ears in responses. It’s taken our support team weeks to get out from under and continues to be a work in progress.

We’ve suspended all Facebook advertising until we’re caught up and are in the process of expanding staff to deal with the influx.

We had not anticipated such a vast response, although this should not have been any big surprise. Today, in the Good Ole USA, the Overweight Capital of the World, 51% of the general population is either Pre-Diabetic or Diabetic - 51%!

If you break it down a bit further and zero in on people who are chronically 30 lbs. overweight or beyond, that number jumps to 84%. People in that spot may never get a Diabetes diagnosis, BUT Las Vegas says NO.

When I was a college boy, Mickey D’s was just starting out and had no imitators. You could buy a hamburger for 13 cents and a cheeseburger for 15 cents and the National Diabetes rate was 11%.

Fast food has done a swell job of exporting, and every place fast food goes worldwide; we see the exact same phenomenon. For the first time ever, China is seeing an epidemic of Childhood Diabetes.

When I was a college boy, there was just no such thing.

I’ll say that again, THERE WAS NO SUCH THING.

We know exactly what to expect with the responses from our Facebook ads.

We have to do some very serious screening right out of the gate.

The very first question on our profile form is:

“On a scale of 1 to 10, how important is it for you to get to your dream weight and beyond and never have to worry about weight again?”

Think hard about that one, because if your answer is anything less than 10, the Boot Camp is not for you.

The science of Epigenetics, properly applied is as close to 100% long term effective as you could ever hope to get. There’s no more losing weight only to gain it right back.

HOWEVER, WE’RE NOT ABOUT TO SUGARCOAT IT, IT’S AN INTENSE 90-DAY PROGRAM, THE FIRST 32 DAYS BEING THE ROUGHEST.

If you recognize just what a terrible spot you’re really in with your weight, by all means, complete the full profile and book an on the phone appointment to look into it further.

If not, please don’t bother. Save your space for a serious person.

"The Consequences of Obesity" Severe Depression is one of the most serious consequences of obesity. Its attack is universal and every bit as harmful to the psyche as it is to the body - Heart Disease, Diabetes, et al. Our society punishes the obese relentlessly. The vast majority of the obese have been beaten down so long, they don’t even realize how depressed they are. Without effective treatment it gets worse. It’s a true killer with a major impact. There is a permanent solution, RIGHT HERE: https://jimbrownbootcamp.org/ Time to do your homework!

Lost & Gained, Lost & Gained, Lost & Gained - Like a "Broken Record"

The Boot Camp, just as a test, ran a small series of Facebook ads, geared to people who have struggled all their lives with weight and always with the same “Broken record” :   They’d go along all just fine and dandy with the weight just falling off, BUT they’d either gain it all back right away or go for months, sometimes even a full year, beating themselves up trying desperately to stay on a strict unsustainable diet before finally falling off the wagon and ending up in worse shape yet. They’d blame themselves, seeing themselves as weak and far more often than not, falling into a deep state of depression, then guess what, “TRY TO EAT THEIR WAY THROUGH THEIR ISSUES.”  Anybody who’s struggled with weight the way I have, the way all our campers have, knows exactly how that all goes.  We see it all the time with our newbie Campers... No matter what they tried, they always end up right back where they started from, most of the time, in a whole lot worse shape.  Well, the high end Betty
